Our Mulches

C.M. Jones Inc. carries premium mulches (and other yard products) at discount prices. Call us first for all of your mulch, stone, and dirt needs! We are open Monday through Friday (Saturday deliveries are available if arranged ahead of time).

Minimum delivery is three cubic yards. One cubic yard of mulch (27 cubic feet) covers 100 square feet (a 10' x 10' area) at a depth of three inches thick, or it covers 150 square feet (a 15' x 10' area) at a depth of two inches thick.

We install mulch with a mulch blower. 1-20 yards, $75.00 per yard; 21-100 yards, $60.00 per yard; over 100 yards, $50.00 per yard (minimum area six cubic yards). This fee does not include bed maintenance or bed preparation. If you require bed maintenance or bed preparation prior to your mulch installation, we provide that service at $45.00 per hour.

 

• Premium Bark ($34/yard) - Premium bark mulch is the highest quality mulch, and is a rich, dark brown color. A combination of well aged hardwood bark, this mulch is double ground and comes directly from the sawmill. This mulch breaks down well and will enrich your soil.
• Black Dyed ($28/yard) - A blend of roots and selected hardwoods, this color-enhanced mulch is finely ground, and is our darkest mulch.
• Brown Dyed ($28/yard) - A blend of roots and selected hardwoods, this color-enhanced mulch is finely ground, and is a rich, natural-looking brown color.
• Triple Shred Root Blend ($24/yard) - A finely ground blend of roots and selected hardwoods, this mulch is a rich brown color.
• Wood Chips ($10/yard) - For an inexpensive ground covering, choose unscreened wood chips. This is a blend of ground brush and woods, and color and size of pieces varies. We do not recommend wood chips for use in flower beds or planting beds.
